 Happy Birthday to Ringo Starr, who turns 75 today (July 7th)!!! Ringo will be celebrating his birthday in Los Angeles, and as usual, will join his wife Barbara Bach, and assorted family, friends, and fans in front of the Capitol Records Tower on Hollywood…

Happy Birthday to Ringo Starr, who turns 75 today (July 7th)!!! Ringo will be celebrating his birthday in Los Angeles, and as usual, will join his wife Barbara Bach, and assorted family, friends, and fans in front of the Capitol Records Tower on Hollywood Boulevard to share a “Peace & Love” salute at 12 Noon PST. The now traditional Peace & Love celebration is open to the public and Ringo invites everyone everywhere to “think or say Peace & Love or share #PeaceandLove, at Noon their local time, on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.”

In April, Ringo Starr was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by surviving Beatle, Paul McCartney. Ringo’s recently released album Postcards From Paradise peaked at Number 21 on Billboard’s Rock Albums list. The 11-track self-produced collection features contributions from such heavyweights as Joe Walsh, Peter Frampton, Heartbreakers keyboardist Benmont Tench, the EurythmicsDave Stewart, Richard Marx, Eric Clapton and Toto bassist Nathan East, Glen Ballard, and his current All Starr Band.

In October, Ringo will kick off his latest North American tour with returning All Starrs Todd Rundgren on guitar, Mr. Mister’s Richard Page on bass, drummer Gregg Bissonette, Santana and Journey co-founding keyboardist Gregg Rolie, multi-instrumentalist Warren Ham, and Toto‘s co-founding guitarist Steve Lukather.
