DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) — Over a dozen residents in Dryden are calling for traffic signs.

The town clerk has received a petition signed by 15 people – all of whom live on Slaterville Road. It requests the immediate installation of signs that read bus stop ahead or children at play.

The petition states the road has “multiple families” with school children, and passing vehicles pose a danger. It also requests the Dryden Town Board to coordinate with the New York State Department of Transportation to evaluate the location.

The board will talk about the matter tonight at 6 p.m. at Dryden Town Hall.
