SENECA FALLS, NY (607NewsNow) – A nonprofit organization is calling attention to the Women’s Rights National Historical Park in Seneca Falls.

The park’s properties have been named one of America’s 11 Most Endangered Historic Places for 2026 by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

It contains four non-contiguous sites in Seneca Falls and Waterloo, including the homes of Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Mary Ann M’Clintock, and Jane Hunt. In 2027, the National Park Service will invest $1.8 million into HVAC system upgrades for the park’s Visitor Center, but data shows that over $10 million in deferred maintenance and repairs are needed.

Park officials say federal funding cuts have contributed to the site’s issues and are hopeful the designation will generate public support and investment.
