TRUMANSBURG, NY (607NewsNow) — Trumansburg is experimenting with road safety.

Mayor Rordan Hart tells 607 News Now they’re adding striping to Halsey Street to help prevent people from speeding.

Hart calls the plan an experiment to make driving in the village safe for everyone.

The Trumansburg mayor says road calming is especially crucial during the school year. DPW began painting the lines this week.
