Tompkins County IDA preparing response to ICSD concerns, chair says

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Tompkins County Industrial Development Agency chair is refuting concerns raised by Ithaca’s school board.

Legislator Deborah Dawson spoke Wednesday, June 29 on WHCU’s 607 This Morning, where the cautioned her opinions only represented herself and not the IDA.

The board wants to pause a housing development project at the SouthWorks site until they can conduct a study. At an IDA meeting in August, Dawson says the board will discuss the letter.

The IDA meeting is Wednesday, Aug. 12.
