OWEGO, NY (607NewsNow) – Tioga County’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) is on the job.

On September 26, the county officially introduced CIO Brandon Clark, though he was appointed earlier this month.

In his new role, Clark will focus on a comprehensive cybersecurity roadmap, a multi-year infrastructure capital plan, intergovernmental efficiency, and digital service enhancements.

“I’m honored to continue serving Tioga County in this new role,” said Clark. “Our priorities are clear: protect the county’s systems and data, deliver excellent customer service to our departments, and invest wisely in technologies that make government more reliable, efficient, and accessible for the public.”

Clark brings 15 years of IT service to the role in both private and public sectors, including previously serving as Tioga County’s Deputy CIO.

“Brandon has proven himself as a steady, future-focused technology leader,” said Tioga County Administrator Jackson Bailey II. “As Deputy CIO, he helped us modernize critical systems, strengthen cybersecurity, and improve day-to-day service delivery for employees and residents. We’re excited to see him accelerate that momentum as CIO.”
