Preble considers temporary bans on solar, wind energy systems

PREBLE, NY (607NewsNow) — A Cortland County town is mulling several moratoriums.

Lawmakers in Preble are considering temporary bans on battery energy storage systems, wind energy conversion systems, and solar energy systems. Before action is taken, the Preble Town Board will hold a public hearing tonight on each moratorium.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Preble Town Hall.
