UPDATE 9/25 @ 2:30 P.M.: The Ithaca Police Department has identified the victim as 35-year-old Lasalle Hargrove, of Ithaca.
ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — One person is dead after an alleged stabbing in Ithaca.
Around 6 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to the Arthaus on Cherry Street. They said they found a victim who then received emergency medical care. The victim later died at a hospital.
Police describe the suspect as a Black man in his 40s, wearing all black clothing and a backpack. Authorities said the stabbing appears to be an isolated incident and there’s no danger to the public.
