CORTLAND, NY (CortacaToday) — If you’re looking for a job or to advance your current career, there’s a “one-stop job shopping” event you will want to add to your calendar.

On Thursday August 29th, the Oven Fresh Jobs live job fair will be held at the all new HomeTowne Studios & Conference Center in Cortland. The job fair is free to the public and runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“It’s a great time for candidates to not just look for a job, but to find a better job” said Cayuga Media Group President Chet Osadchey. “It’s such a great opportunity for people to explore professional opportunities available from our great local companies.”

Approximately 25 local and regional employers will be on hand to meet, talk with, and even offer positions to local candidates. Attending company employers include: TCAT, Cayuga Media/Radio Group, Hospicare, Marriott, Fingerlakes Residential, The William George Agency, Ongwehoweh, Army National Guard, Campus Construction Management, Guthrie Health, Ithaca City School District, Borg Warner, TSA (Transportation Security Administration), Cayuga Health, Homer City School District, The Unity House, Byrne Dairy, Wegmans, Therm Corporation, Racker, Forkey Fabrication, and ISpice.

The Oven Fresh Jobs live events give candidates an excellent opportunity to meet face to face with local companies. “People enjoy the opportunity to ask questions to real live representatives,” said Marketing Director Alex Bergman. “Plus, we make the events fun and worthwhile to attend. All candidates get brochures from the companies attending, and we have prize giveaways literally every 15 minutes, so it’s a blast for attendees”.

If you or someone you know is looking for a better career opportunity, have them check out this event!
