Noise complaints steadily rise in Tompkins County

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Tompkins County residents are calling for peace and quiet.

According to data from the Tompkins County Department of Emergency Response, the number of noise complaints has risen for four consecutive months. Data from June is not yet available.

In May, dispatchers fielded 141 complaints about noise. That number is more than the combined total of January and February.
