Moore Family Farm wins NYS Senate Empire Award

GROTON, NY (607NewsNow) – A local business is receiving recognition from New York State.

Senator Lea Webb was recently in Groton to present the State Senate Empire Award to the Moore Family Farm.

The highest honor in New York for small businesses, the Empire Award highlights contributions made for the betterment of communities. Webb says the farm, which has grown and expanded over nearly 55 years of business, remains dedicated to sustainable farming, family tradition, and community connection, adding the Moore Family Farm represents the “heart of the region.”

The Moore Family Farm’s fall season wrapped up on November 1, but the Christmas Tree Farm will open up later this month.

  • November 28-December 20, Wednesday – Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
