Mobile mammography van coming to Ithaca October 29

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – A convenient health service is coming to Tompkins County.

On October 29, Guthrie Lourdes’ mobile mammography van will provide breast cancer screenings at the Tompkins County Whole Health Department (TCWH) on Brown Road in Ithaca. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Anyone 40 and above is eligible, regardless of their medical history, and you do not need to be a Lourdes patient. Call (607) 758-5523 to find out if you qualify for a low- or no-cost screening.

The van will be at TCWH from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 29. Schedule your appointment at (607) 798-5723.
