Longer holiday weekend for Homer students

HOMER, NY (607NewsNow) — Students in Homer are getting more time off over Memorial Day weekend.

District officials say they are extending the unofficial kickoff to summer because of unused snow days. The longer weekend means students will be off Friday, May 22 and Tuesday, May 26.

The extra days off are for all students in the Homer Central School District.
