PREBLE, NY (607NewsNow) — Parking is a focus in Preble.

Lawmakers are looking to reconfigure the parking area at Preble Town Hall. The goal is to fit more vehicles at the site and move cars off the sidewalk.

The Preble Town Board discussed the matter on Dec. 8. Board member Dave Morse said change is necessary.

“I think something will have to be done eventually,” he said.

Preble Town Supervisor Jim Doring said the board will work on the issue this winter.

“I think this is a work in process here,” he said. “The board will be figuring these things out as time goes on.”
