Lane urges people to ‘constantly watch’ Trump administration

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Tompkins County Legislator Mike Lane is comparing President Trump’s regime to Nazi Germany.

“We know that, for our current president, it’s the immigrants who are the scape goat, and for Nazi Germany, it was the Jews who were the scape goat,” he said during a legislative session on Sept. 2.

Lane also shared his dissatisfaction with federal deportation plans.

“We don’t need to ship our immigrants to Uganda,” he said. “Think of the history of Uganda over the last 30 years, and what kind of dictatorships they had over there.”

Lane said people need to “constantly watch” what the Trump administration is doing. His full comments can be heard below.
