Knicks favored to win NBA Cup; Rangers fall to Ducks

The Knicks battle the Spurs tonight in the NBA Cup final. The NBA Cup is a midseason tournament; players on the winning team will each receive about $530,000. The game begins at 8:30 p.m. in Las Vegas. New York is favored to win by about three points.

The Syracuse women’s basketball team entertains Binghamton tonight at 7 p.m. ‘Cuse enters the matchup on a four-game win streak.

The Rangers fell to the Ducks 4-1 on Monday. New York looks to bounce back tonight against Vancouver. The game begins at 7 p.m.

The Islanders visit the Red Wings tonight at 7 p.m. The Isles enter the matchup on a three-game win streak.

Jets Head Coach Aaron Glenn wants to finish the season strong. During a press conference on Monday, Glenn said he wants to see “consistent improvement.” The Jets have lost four of their last five games.

On this day in 1962, Giants quarterback Y.A. Tittle threw six touchdowns in a win over the Cowboys. The game was played at Yankee Stadium.
