Knicks fall to Mavs in ‘tale of two halves’

NEW YORK (607NewsNow) — The Knicks are going through a rough stretch.

New York has dropped four straight games. The latest loss came Monday night against the Mavericks, in which the Knicks allowed 75 points in the first half.

“We all have to do our job for 48 minutes,” New York Head Coach Mike Brown said after the game.

Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson called the contest a “tale of two halves.” New York outscored Dallas by 11 points in the second half.

The past few weeks have been rocky for the Knicks: New York is 7-11 since winning the NBA Cup in mid-December.

“It’s a long season,” Brunson said.
