ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – An Ithaca College educator has died.
On September 19, Assistant Professor Michael Lewis reportedly passed away in his sleep.
According to The Ithacan, Lewis joined IC in 2019 to teach photography at the Park School of Communications Department of Media Arts, Sciences, and Studies.
Prior to coming to Ithaca, he was a professional photographer who worked with numerous celebrities and publications, including The New York Times, Rolling Stone, and Time Magazine. You can learn more about Michael Lewis here.
On September 24, the college is hosting a gathering to honor Lewis’ life in Muller Chapel at 3:30 p.m.
