Hopshire Farm and Brewery’s Oktoberfest to host Stones of the North lifting competition

FREEVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) — Brews, food, music, and a stone lifting competition are on the schedule for this year’s Hopshire Farm and Brewery Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 3rd.

According to the event’s Facebook page, the Oktoberfest festivities will run from around 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Stones of the North stone lifting competition will start at 12:30 p.m., with check in starting at 11:30 a.m.

The Stones of the North will include men and women competing in various stone lifts, with kilts required as part of their attire.
