EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (607NewsNow) — The Giants have released a longtime player.

On Monday, New York let go of wide receiver Darius Slayton. He spent seven seasons with the team.

Slayton said he’s “grateful” for his time in New York. During his tenure, he caught 22 touchdowns.

The Giants begin the 2026 season on Sunday against the Cowboys.
