HOMER, NY (607NewsNow) – A Cortland man is accused of threatening a minor.
On September 13, State Police were called to a residence on Foster Road in Homer for a “domestic incident with possible shots fired.”
Troopers say 37-year-old Jeremiah Rundell shot a non-lethal self-defense weapon, which fires projectiles using CO2, in the direction of a person under 18 during an argument. The victim was not injured.
Rundell was taken into custody without incident after the responding troopers ordered him out of the home using their patrol vehicle’s PA system. He is charged with menacing and endangering the welfare of a child, both class A misdemeanors. If found guilty, the charges are punishable by up to 364 days in jail, each.
