BINGHAMTON, NY (607NewsNow) — The Cornell women’s soccer team is back in the win column.

On Sunday, the Big Red blanked Binghamton 1-0. Cornell freshman Sofía Menéndez scored the winning goal late in the second half.

The win marked Cornell’s first victory since Aug. 27. The team next faces Yale on Sept. 26 in Ithaca.
