ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Cornell’s Hotel School has a new leader.

On April 13, the University announced that Ceridwyn King has been named the Dimond Family Dean of the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration, which is part of the SC Johnson College of Business.

King, who succeeds Dean Kate Walsh, comes to Ithaca from Purdue University, where she served as a professor and associate dean. King tells the Cornell Chronicle she’s “energized” to lead the Nolan School into its next era of influence and opportunity.

Her appointment is effective July 1.
