Cornell men’s hockey extends win streak; IC volleyball season ends

Four straight wins for the Cornell men’s hockey team. The Big Red beat Union and RPI over the weekend. Cornell sophomore Charlie Major scored a goal in each game.

The Cornell men’s soccer season has ended. On Sunday, the Big Red fell to UConn 3-1 in the NCAA tournament.

The Cornell women’s basketball team beat Le Moyne 52-51 in overtime on Saturday. Cornell sophomore Audrey Chen had three steals in the victory.

No luck for the Ithaca College volleyball team. The Bombers fell to Wesleyan on Friday in the NCAA tournament.

The SUNY Cortland football season has ended. On Saturday, the Red Dragons lost to Springfield 21-7 in the NCAA tournament.

Six straight losses for the Giants. On Sunday, New York fell to Detroit 34-27 in overtime.

No luck for the Jets. They lost to the Ravens 23-10 on Sunday.

Back-to-back wins for the Sabres. Buffalo beat Chicago and Carolina over the weekend.

The Syracuse Crunch outscored Bridgeport 5-3 on Saturday. Syracuse goalie Brandon Halverson made 18 saves in the victory.
