Cornell football tops Ivy League rival

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Cornell football team powered past a familiar foe on Saturday.

Cornell outscored Yale 38-25. The Big Red had success running the ball: Cornell had five rushing touchdowns.

On defense, Cornell senior Johnny Williamson led the team with nine total tackles.

This coming Saturday, the Big Red will travel to Georgetown. The game begins at 12:30 p.m.
