Cornell football to battle Yale at Schoellkopf Field

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Cornell football team is preparing for its home opener.

The Big Red will host the Yale Bulldogs on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Schoellkopf Field.

During the Tompkins County Football Luncheon on Thursday, Cornell Head Coach Dan Swanstrom said the Bulldogs have great athletes.

“They have two fantastic receivers,” he said.

Last Saturday, Yale wide receivers Jaxton Santiago and Lucius Anderson each caught two touchdowns. The Bulldogs beat Holy Cross that day 38-28.
