ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The proposed consolidation would move the hematology and oncology services currently provided at East Campus to Cayuga Park.
The change would go into effect starting December 31st, 2026, and is subject to review and approval by the New York State Department of Health.
According to the Cayuga Health website, no services or positions would be eliminated as a result of the consolidation. Hematology and oncology experts would work in the same facility with access to an on-site lab, pharmacists, clinical research, imaging, nurse navigators, a second opinion clinic, and other support services. The goal of the consolidation is to streamline coordination for patient care.
