Authorities seek info about abandoned puppies in Elmira

ELMIRA, NY (607NewsNow) – Authorities are investigating abandoned puppies in Elmira.

On the evening of September 15, a litter of dogs was found huddled together near Hendry Creek Road and Monastery Road.

Officials with Elmira Animal Control and Shelter believe the pups were crated because of urine and feces stains on their coats.

Anyone who recognizes the animals or has relevant information is asked to call (607) 737-5767.
