$5-6 million deficit likely for Ithaca in 2027, Recckio says

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — There’s a large deficit coming to Ithaca.

Acting City Manager Dominick Recckio tells 607 News Now a projected $5-6 million gap in 2027 is the result of higher costs.

There’s a lot of money going out but not enough coming in, Recckio said.

Recckio will present his budget proposal to the Common Council next Wednesday, Oct. 7.
