29th Annual World of Skills Job Fair coming to Ithaca

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Job seekers in Tompkins County will have the chance to connect with more than 30 local employers at the 29th Annual World of Skills Job Fair, taking place on Wednesday, October 22nd from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Hotel Ithaca.

The event offers opportunities for candidates to meet face-to-face with hiring employers, many of whom are seeking to fill entry-level positions. Attendees will also have the chance to enter a raffle to win a brand-new laptop, donated by the Finger Lakes Independence Center.

The fair is organized by a steering committee that includes the Finger Lakes Independence Center, the New York State Department of Labor, Challenge Workforce Solutions, Ithaca Rotary, Workforce New York, and Tompkins County Whole Health, with additional community partners providing financial support.
