24th Annual Girls Day Out at TC3 to hold career fair, other events

DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) — On Saturday, March 7th, Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3) will host the 24th Annual Girls Day Out in collaboration with TST Boces PTECH Academy.

A day focused on forging women’s equality and celebrating women’s achievements, there will be:

  • An interactive career fair with accomplished women from the Cortland community and surrounding areas 
  • Hands-on STEAM-based activities with technology to explore science and create art
  • A dance fitness activity
  • An intro to ukelele lesson
  • Swim time
  • A provided lunch and snack
  • A 2026 Girls Day Out giveaway item

The first 20 participants to register get to attend for free. After the first 20 spots are filled, registration is $25 per person, though there are scholarships available for those facing financial barriers. Proceeds will go toward the YWCA Cortland’s Wellness Program.

Participants should be sure to come prepared with a bathing suit, towel, and a water bottle. Find more information on the event and a list of career fair participants on the Cortland YWCA website here.
