The warmest temperatures Ithaca has seen all year are forecasted through Friday.
High temperatures the next two days won’t be anything like what we saw during a frigid winter, which included the coldest February on record for the city.
The bad news? Those temperatures aren’t expected to last into the weekend.
“We go from 62 today, 61 Friday, to near 40 on Saturday,” says WENY-TV’s Craig Flint.
He says there’s even a chance for accumulating snow in some of the higher elevations this weekend.
For Easter Sunday, Flint says temperatures will likely be in the low 40’s, with scattered light rain or snow showers.
