Two Cornell chemistry professors honored for work in their field

ITHACA, N.Y. – Two Cornell chemistry professors have been awarded for their work in their field.

Professor Héctor Abruña has been awarded the Frumkin Memorial Medal from the International Society of Electrochemistry. He was given the award in recognition of his recent work studying novel materials and architectures for batteries and fuel cells.

Assistant professor Song Lin has also been recognized as one of 25 scientists receiving the Office of Naval Research Young Investigator Program award. Lin’s work in synthesizing energetic materials earned him that honor.
