COLESVILLE, N.Y. (WHCU) – An Elmira man has escaped serious injury after a crash in Broome County.
Authorities in Binghamton were forced to shut down part of Interstate 88 Monday afternoon because of an overturned vehicle. The 51-year-old driver was hauling a pick-up truck on a trailer when he lost control and rolled the vehicles, blocking both lanes. Traffic was rerouted off I-88 at exit 5 and back onto I-88 at exit 6. The Elmira man was treated on scene but refused to be transported to a hospital.
