Ithaca, NY (WHCU) – Cornell University welcomes Rhonda Kitch as the school’s new registrar. She officially takes the seat January 13th.
Kitch arrives from North Dakota State University, where she worked in the same position since 2014. The university registrar manages the academic records for all students enrolled at Cornell, a number estimated at more than 23,000 a year. That individual’s also in charge of roles including issuing official transcripts and certifications and distributing diplomas.
Kitch will additionally provide leadership both in Ithaca and for Cornell programs across the world.
