ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — A resident of the Ithaca Arthaus is accused of setting fire to her own apartment.

Ithaca Police say 42-year-old Natasha Thomas was charged Friday with one felony count of arson. She allegedly purposefully set fire to the apartment, but police are not saying why. Bail was set at $10,000. One one person was injured, which is being described by IPD as “non life threatening.”

Residents of the building are being offered temporary shelter by the Red Cross.
