ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Ithaca College students are not able to upload bus passes to their school-issued IDs.

TCAT says they are still ironing out links in their new fare collection system, which was introduced last week. Students can ride for free this semester until December 15 by showing their ID to the driver. The free bus rides are being paid by IC.

The transit company tells WHCU that, “IC riders show their IDs, our bus operators log the rides manually, and we are invoicing the college for every ride.”

TCAT expects their new system for collecting fares to be fully operational by October.
