Back in June, Gap announced plans to shut down a quarter of its stores across the U.S. to reverse a trend in struggling sales numbers.
Now, new details are surfacing about the company’s plans to shut stores in upstate New York.
The company is reportedly planning to close stores at the Shops at Ithaca Mall as well as at Destiny USA in Syracuse. Gap is also reportedly closing a store in the Buffalo area.
Gap is closing 175 stores nationwide, and also plans to eliminate 250 corporate jobs company-wide.
