ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Faculty from Cornell’s Creative Writing Program in the College of Arts and Sciences have been preparing readings of their own works to share with the community.
Released every other weekday, beginning today, the readings will be available on the Program’s YouTube channel.
The late Toni Morrison was the inspiration for the project, according to Ishion Hutchinson, Creative Writing Program director.
Hutchinson also noted that the project hopes to reaffirm to students and the wider community how seriously these individuals take their hybrid roles as artists and professors of English.
