ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Tuition is increasing at Cornell.
The college’s Board of Trustees agreed to raise tuition for undergrads by over three percent for the 2022 to 2023 school year. Students with grant-based financial aid will see their tuition go up by over eight percent, which Cornell officials say is a record 322-million-dollar investment to make sure an education at the Ivy League school remains accessible to everyone.
In 2021, the median Cornell grant was more than 47-thouand-dollars.
