Update 9/19- Greek Peak has located the portable generators, per the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office.
VIRGIL, N.Y. (WHCU) – Authorities in Cortland County are asking for any information about a commercial burglary.
Cortland County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Greek Peak Campgrounds at Hope Lake on Monday for a report of theft. Police say someone stole portable generators from a building at the campgrounds sometime between Friday and today.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help with any relevant information, including suspicious activity in the area, that could help with the investigation.
