Sean Penn, Anthony Hopkins join Tom Petty for new music video
Tom Petty has enlisted actors Sir Anthony Hopkins and Sean Penn for his band Mudcrutch’s new music video.
The “Hannibal” star makes an appearance in the video for “I Forgive it All,” while Penn served as the film’s co-director.
Tom and the group use the video to reflect on social issues including poverty, wealth, and aging, according to RollingStone.com.
It features archival footage from the Great Depression in the 1920s in juxtaposition to wealthy neighborhoods in Los Angeles. It also showcases Hopkins driving around different parts of town in a restored, classic car.
