Once a week Kat shares a rockin’ and rare video of rock & roll icons doing what they do best!
THIS WEEK: Pink Floyd – Live at The BBC in 1967, “Astronomy Domine”.
Syd Barret was still at the helm here. The song is not only insane, but the interview that follows is pretty cool too!
Pink Floyd founder member Syd Barrett is to have a hospital garden built in his honor.
Syd’s childhood friend, the sculptor Stephen Pyle has teamed up with garden designer Paul Herrington to create a contemplative space for Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, England.
The rocker, who died aged 60 in 2006, grew up in Cambridge and lived as a recluse in the town in his later years. More info here.
