PETER FRAMPTON SAYS CHEAP TRICK DOUBLE BILL FEELS RIGHT Peter Frampton’s joint summer tour with Cheap Trick kicks off on Friday (June 5th) in Temecula, California at the Pechanga Resort & Casino, and is shaping up to be one of the hottest tickets of the season. Frampton will play a pre-tour show on Wednesday night (June 3rd) in Modesto, California at Mary Stuart Rogers Theatre.

Frampton told us that it was a one-off joint gig last year that made him think that he and Cheap Trick sharing a bill would be a no-brainer for fans of both acts: “We played together in — many years ago, but last tour we did one date, I think in the very beginning, and they’re a great band and great people to hang, and we just had a lot of fun that show. And the crowd really loved the combination — that was the main thing, I think. The combination seemed to really work. They’re all friends for many years. So we just said, ‘Well, why don’t we try to do a whole summer together?’ And, as luck would have it, guess what? We share the same management! I think it’s going to be an exciting tour.”
