Last week, a photograph of Van Halen guitarist Eddie Van Halen and veteran rapper LL Cool J sitting in a recording studio together sent a strong signal that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame axeman would show up on the LL’s next album. On Friday, irrefutable audio evidence of the rocker-rapper teaming on the track “We’re the Greatest” surfaced online in the form of a 30-second YouTube clip. Reportedly, Van Halen will also be featured on “Not Leaving You Tonight,” with both tracks destined for the rapper’s 13th album, Authentic, due April 30.
