BEAR, LION AND TIGER REFUSE TO BE SEPARATED: A bear, lion and tiger have been living together for 15 years and refuse to be separated. The animals were discovered during a 2001 drug raid in Atlanta, found malnourished, and underweight. Baloo the black bear, Leo the Lion, and Shere Khan the Bengal Tiger’s time in the home allowed them to create an amazing bond. They currently live together at Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary and hardly ever fight or snap at each other. (Independent)
GEORGIA ANIMAL SANCTUARY REDEFINES #SQUADGOALS: An African lion, a Bengal tiger, and an American black bear have become BFFs while living together at Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary in Locust Grove, Georgia. Shere Khan the tiger, Leo the lion, and Baloo the bear have grown up together at the sanctuary for the past 15 years.
According to The Dodo, the animals were discovered as cubs in a basement in Atlanta during a drug raid. They were all less than a year old. Their rescuers determined that their injuries at the time were too severe for them to be reintroduced into the wild so they have been living together ever since. An employee at the sanctuary told the website, “All three are still equally affectionate with one another.”
