A Ride for Dio and an afternoon of music: Sunday, July 14th

Celebrating the life of Cortland native and world famous musician, the late, great, Ronnie James Dio. Ronnie passed away in 2010 due to a difficult battle with stomach cancer. His memory lives on through his music and memories. Join us as we celebrate his life, and raise money for some very important causes in Ronnie’s name.

The Ride for Dio motorcycle run:
Will take off from Argyles Easy Street Tavern in Cortland – Kickstands up at noon!
Music:
Night Owl’s in Cortland @ 1 PM (21 and up to attend)
Be a part of one or both!

Food will be available for purchase from Firedawgs BBQ and Catering

Tickets:
Are $10 (includes ride and concert) and can be purchased at The Hollywood Restaurant in Cortland, Night Owl’s or at the door day of.

Six bands will perform including:
• Sydney Irving
• The Essentials
• BAND OF DOOM: A Tribute to Black Sabbath
• PULL
• Tailor-Made
• Ten Man Push

Money raised goes to:
The Ronnie James Dio Music Scholarship
(Awarded to Cortland students who are pursuing a career in music),
The Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes
(Which assists cancer patients locally)
The Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund
(The national cancer fund created in memory of Ronnie).
