The surviving members of the Doors, guitarist Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore, will make their first joint performance together in 15 years on February 12th. The pair is leading an all star lineup for the A Celebration For Ray Manzarek concert at L.A.’s Fonda Theatre. All proceeds from the show will benefit Stand Up To Cancer. Doors’ co-founder and keyboardist Ray Manzarek died at age 74 on May 20th, 2013 in Rosenheim, Germany following a long battle with bile duct cancer.

So far, the Manzarek tribute includes Rami Jaffee from Foo Fighters, Stephen Perkins from Jane’s Addiction, John Doe and Exene from X, Robert DeLeo from Stone Temple Pilots, “plus very special surprise guests” still to be announced.
