Rules NYS Fair Contest


Starting Saturday August 11, 2018 at 5AM 103.7 Q Country, Z 95.5, Lite Rock 97.3 and I100 will be starting “The Great New York State Fair” sweepstakes contest. This enter to win online sweepstakes will be held on WQNY/WFIZ/WYXL/WIII. Listeners can enter on www.1037qcountry.com, www.i100rocks.com, www.literock973.com , www.z955.com and can enter once per day until the close of the contest on August 17, 2018 at 10:00 AM.

On the following dates we will draw one winner per day:

  • 8/13/2018
  • 8/14/2018
  • 8/15/2018
  • 8/16/2018
  • 8/17/2018

Each winner will receive a four pack of tickets for The New York State Fair which is open August 22, 2018 through September 3, 2018.

The approximate value of each ticket is $10 with the total of each four pack being approximately $40.

Must be 18+ to enter. One entry per day per person. Submitting more than one entry per person per day will invalidate all entries by that contestant. Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participants entries and that participant may be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the email address sued to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these official rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.

WQNY/WIII/WYXL/WFIZ contests are open to all eligible New York State and Pennsylvania State residents 21 or older have not won anything on WQNY/WIII/WYXL/WFIZ in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WQNY/WIII/WYXL/WFIZ, Cayuga Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WQNY/WIII/WYXL/WFIZ main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

No purchase necessary. Prize is not redeemable or transferable for cash. WQNY/WIII/WYXL/WFIZ sole responsibility will be to award the prize. WQNY/WIII/WYXL/WFIZ shall have no further responsibility if the prize winner for any reason cannot or decides not to use any of the prize. Winner responsible for all applicable federal and state taxes. Fees and incidentals are not included with the prize and are the sole responsibility of the winner.

This contest is being run concurrently and simultaneously in the Ithaca New York are between radio stations associated with the Cayuga Radio Group and listeners of said stations will be competing against each other for the same prize. These rules supersede the rules found on the SecondStreet platform.
