DON HENLEY & GLENN FREY PREPPING EAGLES MUSICAL

Even as Don Henley begins the process of touring behind his latest album, the newly released Cass County, the legend of the Eagles is never too far behind. Confirming recent rumors, Henley admitted to USA Today, that he and Glenn Frey are in the planning stages of an Eagles Broadway musical. Henley explained, “That’s tricky stuff, that musical thing. Several people that I highly respect have tried and failed. We want to learn more than we know now about the process and how to make it work. . . that’s somewhere down the pike.”

Back in April, Glenn Frey hinted to The New York Daily News that there was a reason why he’d been seen out and about in the Big Apple — especially doing time on the “Great White Way” — explaining, “I’m going to see a lot of shows, so you never know.” Frey named checked the Carole King musical Beautiful as a one of his recent favorites.
